On live TV, Jesse Watters shared that his mother joined the fiery “No Kings” protests over the weekend, joking that it made him wonder if he was adopted

Fox News host Jesse Watters has acknowledged that his mother participated in the recent widespread “No Kings” protests, which were organized to oppose what demonstrators describe as the king-like tendencies of the Trump administration.

During a segment on *The Five*, Watters reluctantly admitted, “I know my mom was there. Can you believe my mom was there? Sometimes I think I was adopted.” The rallies, which took place across thousands of U.S. cities, saw participants holding signs with messages such as “For the Epsteinth time… No Kings.”

Despite his mother’s involvement, Watters and his fellow conservative panelists downplayed the significance of the massive turnout and proceeded to mock the liberal protesters. He dismissed the events as a recurring pattern, comparing them to the Women’s March and BLM protests.

Watters further claimed, without offering evidence, that most attendees had “no idea why they’re there.” He made an exception for his mother, stating, “like my mom knew,” but insisted that others were just “walking around” without a clear purpose.

His mother, Anne Purvis, is a child psychologist and a staunch Democrat who has publicly disagreed with her son’s political stance on multiple occasions. Their ideological differences have been evident in their past interactions.

In previous years, Purvis has phoned into his show to advise him to “be kind and respectful” and to avoid “conspiracy rabbit holes.” She has also sent him critical text messages, which Watters has read on air, urging him to practice humility.

This public revelation highlights the personal and political divide within Watters’ own family, even as he uses his platform to criticize the very movement his mother supports.
