The Mountain’s ‘Tiny’ Wife Answers The One Question Everyone Keeps Asking
Hafthor Julius Bjornsson — widely known as “The Mountain” or Thor — and his wife, Kelsey Henson, recently addressed the question they hear most often about their relationship.
Standing 6 feet 9 inches tall, Björnsson is best recognized for playing Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane in Game of Thrones. Henson, at 5 feet 2 inches, shares a noticeable height difference with her husband, something that frequently sparks curiosity online.
The couple decided to tackle fans’ questions during an Instagram Q&A session. Among the many inquiries, one focused on how they manage everyday displays of affection given their contrasting heights.
A follower humorously asked how they kiss and whether Henson has to leap into his arms. The playful question quickly became one of the highlights of the session.
Henson responded with equal humor, explaining that sometimes he bends down while she stands on tiptoe, and other times he simply lifts her up.
Beyond lighthearted moments, the pair has also faced deep personal challenges. Last year, they experienced the heartbreaking stillbirth of their daughter, Grace, at 21 weeks.
Despite that loss, they continue to focus on family life. They share a young son, Stormur, and Björnsson is also father to a daughter, Theresa Líf, from a previous relationship.
