Joe Rogan has scathing message for Trump as he signs Epstein files bill into law
Despite previously resisting, former President Donald Trump has signed a bill mandating the release of documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein case. This marks a significant reversal from his earlier stance.
The pressure to release these files had been mounting for months. Trump had initially pledged transparency on the matter during his campaign.
However, his administration had been selectively releasing information. The Department of Justice had later indicated it would not share more files.
Trump had previously dismissed the push for documents as a Democratic “hoax.” He claimed it was a tactic to distract from his political victories.
This position changed after Congress passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act with overwhelming support. The new law forces the disclosure of all unclassified documents related to the Epstein investigation.
Podcaster Joe Rogan publicly questioned Trump’s abrupt change in position. He pointed out the contradiction between Trump’s past claims that there were no files and his current action to release them.
Following the new law, Trump and his administration now have 30 days to release the files to the public.
