Gruters said he witnessed Trump’s order while traveling with him. It reportedly included a Filet-O-Fish, a Quarter Pounder, and a Big Mac. Gruters claimed Trump combined two of the sandwiches into one and drank an orange soda.
The timing of the meal was precise. Gruters noted that hot fries were handed directly to Trump as he was boarding the plane. This attention to detail surprised the senator.
Gruters also shared his own reaction to the large meal. He joked that he ate two of the sandwiches himself and subsequently felt “sick as a dog” for a day.
