Trump slams TIME magazine for ‘worst of all time’ picture of him
Trump Praised for Peace Deal — and Furious Over TIME Cover
President Donald Trump is receiving worldwide praise for helping broker a historic peace agreement between Israel and Hamas. But his latest clash with TIME Magazine has stirred a different kind of attention.
The magazine’s newest cover story, titled “His Triumph,” celebrated Trump’s role in achieving the Gaza ceasefire. However, the accompanying photograph sparked his outrage. “They wrote a good story, but the picture may be the Worst of All Time,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “They made my hair disappear and added a tiny floating crown — very weird!”
The image, taken from a low angle against a bright sky, appeared to flatten Trump’s trademark blond hairstyle. The former president, 79, complained, “I never liked pictures taken from underneath, but this one is really bad. What are they doing, and why?”
Despite his criticism, Trump acknowledged that the article fairly described his efforts, alongside Jared Kushner and envoy Steve Witkoff, to secure the ceasefire.
During recent visits to Israel and Egypt, Trump helped finalize an agreement with 20 world leaders, including representatives from Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey. The deal resulted in the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners. “I’m good at solving wars. I’m good at making peace,” Trump said at the summit.
TIME framed the achievement as a defining moment of Trump’s second term.
Though the former president has long faced curiosity about his famous hair, he maintains, “It’s my hair. I swear.” His love-hate relationship with TIME — dating back to 1989 — continues, even amid global praise.
