Elon Musk appears to double down on bombshell claims about Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein files

Elon Musk has reignited controversy over Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged “client list,” slamming authorities after the FBI denied its existence. The bureau recently released CCTV footage from Epstein’s prison cell before his 2019 death, concluding there was no evidence of murder or blackmail involving high-profile figures.

Musk responded with a meme mocking the situation, suggesting officials backtracked on promises to release the list. The post featured a clown getting ready, captioned with phrases like “WE WILL RELEASE THE LIST” before ending with “THERE IS NO LIST.” He added an angry emoji, signaling his frustration.

Others joined the criticism, with one user questioning claims that the list was “on my desk.” Musk quote-tweeted the post, calling it the “final straw,” though his exact meaning remains unclear. He has repeatedly voiced skepticism about the handling of Epstein’s case.

In another post, Musk sarcastically commented “Anytime now” under a clip of Trump vowing to release the list if re-elected. He also reacted to a joke about the list “hanging itself,” quipping that conspiracy theorists would doubt it.

Last month, Musk claimed Trump was named in Epstein’s files, suggesting that’s why they weren’t public. He later deleted the post, admitting he went “too far.” Notably, being named in the files doesn’t imply wrongdoing.

The FBI’s update directly contradicts conspiracy theories, including those once promoted by Trump-appointed officials. Despite the findings, skepticism persists, fueled by figures like Musk.

The debate continues as critics demand transparency, while authorities insist the case is closed. Musk’s outbursts highlight lingering distrust over how Epstein’s connections were handled.
