Rosie O’Donnell savagely hits back at Trump following threat to revoke her citizenship
Donald Trump and Rosie O’Donnell’s feud escalated after the former president threatened to revoke her citizenship. Trump claimed O’Donnell was a “threat to humanity” and suggested she stay in Ireland, where she moved after his 2020 reelection.
Legal experts quickly dismissed Trump’s threat, noting that U.S. citizenship cannot be stripped from a native-born American. Amanda Frost, a law professor, cited a 1967 Supreme Court ruling that protects citizenship under the Fourteenth Amendment.
O’Donnell fired back on Instagram, posting a photo of Trump with Jeffrey Epstein. She captioned it, “You are everything that is wrong with America,” and defiantly stated, “I’m not yours to silence.”
Trump has long denied any close ties to Epstein, who died in prison in 2019. However, his failure to declassify Epstein-related files, as he once promised, has frustrated some supporters.
The FBI and DOJ recently reaffirmed that Epstein’s death was a suicide, dismissing conspiracy theories about a client list. Trump has grown irritated when questioned about the case, despite it remaining a contentious topic.
The exchange highlights the ongoing animosity between Trump and O’Donnell, who has been a vocal critic for years. Their latest clash underscores the divisive nature of Trump’s rhetoric.
Neither Trump nor the White House has responded to requests for comment, leaving the feud unresolved. The confrontation continues to draw attention, blending personal attacks with broader political tensions.
