Most Americans Think Their Fellow Citizens Have Poor Morals
Pew Research Center said Americans were “more likely than people in other countries surveyed in 2025 to question the morality of their fellow countrymen,” after asking adults in 25 countries to rate the morality and ethics of others living in their country.In nearly every country surveyed, more people described fellow citizens’ morals as “somewhat or very good” than “somewhat or very bad,” Pew reported.
