Trump’s former staffer reveals ‘most embarrassing thing’ he saw him do and it involved his wife Melania

Former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci revealed the most “embarrassing” moment he witnessed involving Donald Trump. During a live recording of *The Rest is Politics US* podcast in London, Scaramucci recalled Trump being forced to apologize to his wife, Melania, in 2016.

The apology came after the infamous *Access Hollywood* tape leaked, in which Trump was heard making vulgar comments about women in 2005. Scaramucci claimed this was the only time he saw Trump apologize in over 20 years.

The recording, released on October 7, 2016, captured Trump bragging about groping and kissing women without consent. “When you’re a star, they let you do it,” he said in the tape. “Grab ’em by the p***y. You can do anything.”

Scaramucci described Trump as “embarrassed” while issuing the late-night apology to Melania. The incident reportedly left the then-presidential candidate humiliated amid the media backlash.

Melania later confirmed the apology in a Fox News interview, calling Trump’s remarks “offensive” and “inappropriate.” The couple, married since 2005, share a son, Barron, now 19.

Scaramucci, who served under Trump for just 11 days in 2017, has been openly critical of the former president since his dismissal. He frequently shares anecdotes about Trump’s behavior in office and beyond.

The podcast appearance highlighted Trump’s rare moment of public accountability, contrasting with his usual defiant persona. The *Access Hollywood* scandal remains one of the most controversial moments of his 2016 campaign.
