Jamie Lee Curtis breaks down in tears as she randomly compares Princess Diana to ‘vile’ Trump
Actress Jamie Lee Curtis recently used an appearance on a British talk show to sharply criticize former President Donald Trump. While promoting a new film, she reflected on the positive example set by the late Princess Diana.
Curtis shared an emotional story about nearly meeting Princess Diana in 1997. She praised Diana as an “extraordinary person” and a model of compassion in public life.
The actress then contrasted Diana’s legacy with the current state of American politics. She condemned the “hatred” spewed by some leaders and the way they treat people.
Curtis specifically pointed to a recent incident where Trump called a female reporter “piggy.” She labeled this behavior as “unacceptable,” “abusive,” and “vile.”
She expressed her belief that this “unhinged moment” would ultimately be Trump’s undoing. Curtis suggested it has awakened the public to behavior that cannot represent America’s legacy.
The incident in question occurred on November 14th aboard Air Force One. Trump made the remark to Bloomberg reporter Catherine Lucey after she asked about the newly released Jeffrey Epstein documents.
A White House official defended Trump’s actions, stating the reporter had behaved in an “inappropriate and unprofessional way.” The defense highlights the ongoing political divisions Curtis was referencing.
