Trump accidentally fuels motion to impeach himself in baffling online rant

In a series of online posts, Donald Trump reacted strongly to a video created by six Democratic lawmakers. The controversial video reminded members of the US armed forces that they have a duty to refuse any order that violates the Constitution.

This message was posted amid growing concerns over Trump’s deployment of the National Guard and his threats to use the military within the United States. The Democrats’ video was a direct response to these actions.

However, Trump’s retaliation on Truth Social took an unexpected turn. While sharing a screenshot from the video, he inadvertently promoted an account that was openly anti-Trump.

The account, named ‘Impeach Trump a 3rd Time’, also posted content supporting Democratic electoral victories and images of burning MAGA hats. This mistake was quickly highlighted by left-leaning commentators online.

In his rants, Trump labeled the Democrats’ actions as “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH.” He also shared another user’s post that used the phrase “HANG THEM,” invoking George Washington.

The original 90-second video from the Democrats featured officials emphasizing that service members must refuse illegal orders. They stated that threats to the Constitution are now emerging from within the country.

Later, in a Fox News interview, Trump appeared to soften his tone. He stated, “I’m not threatening death, but I think they’re in serious trouble,” while still maintaining his criticism of the lawmakers.
