FBI Investigating Possible ‘Second Shooter’ In Charlie Kirk Murder
Federal investigators are re-examining the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, exploring the possibility of more than one gunman. New evidence, including video footage and forensic leads, has raised questions about the initial theory of a lone sniper.
Kirk was killed on September 10, 2025, by a single bullet to the neck while speaking at an outdoor event at Utah Valley University. Authorities later arrested 22-year-old Tyler James Robinson and charged him with the murder, recovering a high-powered rifle believed to be the weapon used.
A key piece of new evidence is doorbell-camera footage showing a man, believed to be Robinson, speaking on a mobile phone while fleeing the scene. This behavior has led investigators to question if he was coordinating with an accomplice.
Additionally, separate video footage, highlighted by commentator Candace Owens, appears to show a masked sniper in tactical gear on a rooftop. This has fueled speculation about a second shooter, though officials have not confirmed the video’s contents.
Investigators are also analyzing social media clips from the rally. They are reviewing the behavior of men on stage with Kirk, specifically examining if any hand gestures or movements could have been signals related to the timing of the shot.
