Rudy Giuliani offers brutal 6-word ‘advice’ to Zohran Mamdani after NYC mayoral win
Zohran Mamdani’s election as New York City Mayor has sparked significant controversy. His victory with 50.4% of the vote over independent candidate Andrew Cuomo has been met with strong opposition from Trump and his allies.
Former President Donald Trump, who had endorsed Cuomo, actively campaigned against Mamdani. Prior to the election, he labeled Mamdani a “communist” on his social media platform.
Trump issued a direct threat, stating that if Mamdani won, he would cut nearly all federal funding to New York City should he become president again. He argued that a “communist” mayor would lead the city to economic and social disaster.
Following his victory, other MAGA figures have continued the criticism. Former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani, recently pardoned by Trump, offered brutal advice to the mayor-elect.
Speaking to the NY Post, Giuliani advised Mamdani to “step down and do something else.” He escalated the accusations beyond communism, branding Mamdani a security threat.
Giuliani claimed Mamdani was a “supporter of Muslim extremism,” citing his association with an imam Giuliani alleged supports terrorism. He insisted his concern was not about religion but extremism.
Giuliani concluded by declaring Mamdani a “serious security threat to the United States,” combining the accusations of communism with sympathy for terrorism. The new mayor is thus facing intense scrutiny before even taking office.
