‘American Idol’ exec and hus
Acclaimed music supervisor Robin Kaye and her husband, Thomas Deluca, have been found dead in their Encino home. The police are investigating the case as a double homicide.
The discovery was made on Monday after Los Angeles Police Department officers performed a welfare check at the residence.
Upon arrival, officers observed blood near the front door of the property. This prompted them to take further action to enter the home.
After being unable to make contact with anyone inside, the officers broke a window to gain entry into the house.
Inside, they found the couple deceased. The preliminary investigation indicates the apparent cause of death was gunshot wounds.
Robin Kaye was widely known for her work as a music supervisor on the popular television show *American Idol*.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding their deaths is currently ongoing.
