Everyone’s saying the same thing as JD Vance reveals Halloween costume

Vice President JD Vance, frequently the subject of online memes and parodies, decided to embrace the joke this Halloween. For months, his image has been widely mocked and remixed across social media platforms.

In a now-viral TikTok video, Vance answered his door for trick-or-treaters while wearing a distinctive curly wig. This accessory directly referenced the wild hair featured in one of his most famous and widely circulated internet memes.

He greeted the children with a laugh, telling them, “Happy Halloween, kids… remember, say thank you!” This line was a clear nod to the original incident that spawned the meme.

The meme originated from a tense diplomatic exchange with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, during which Vance pointedly asked, “Have you said thank you once?”

The public reaction to his Halloween stunt was mixed but notably engaged. Many were pleasantly surprised, with even non-supporters admitting the move was humorous and effective trolling.

Others, however, expressed a sense of disappointment. They felt that by co-opting the joke himself, Vance had effectively “ruined” the meme’s original critical power.

Regardless of individual reactions, the act demonstrated that Vance is no longer avoiding the internet’s ridicule. In the often overly serious world of politics, his decision to openly own the joke stands out as a notably bold and unconventional strategy.
