Suspect shouted chilling words before arrest as nine people left fighting for their lives after horrifying knife attack on train

A routine evening train journey from Doncaster to London was violently disrupted when two men armed with knives began a sudden attack. The assailants created panic, sending terrified passengers running for safety during the nearly 15-minute ordeal.

The emergency culminated when the train made an unscheduled stop at Huntingdon Station. Armed police swiftly moved in to confront the attackers and bring the situation under control.

A taxi driver waiting outside the station witnessed the dramatic arrest. He saw one of the suspects flee the train while holding a large kitchen knife, pursued by officers.

The witness described how police used a Taser to subdue the man. During the arrest, the suspect was heard repeatedly shouting, “Kill me, kill me, kill me!”

Authorities confirmed that both suspects, identified as British nationals in their 30s, are now in custody. While counterterrorism units initially provided support, investigators have since stated they do not believe the attack is linked to terrorism.

The motive behind the violent assault remains unclear. Officials have cautioned that it is too early to speculate on the reasons for the attack.

For the traumatized passengers, the memory of the screams and the fear they endured will likely persist long after the event. Many are left shaken by the brutal randomness of the violence and the haunting thought that they could have been among the nine victims now fighting for their lives.
