Kim Kardashian has publicly disclosed that she was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm. The discovery was made during a routine MRI scan, which was filmed for the premiere of her family’s reality show, *The Kardashians*.
During an emotional phone call with her sister Kourtney, Kim, 45, revealed the finding, stating, “There was a little aneurysm.” Kourtney reacted with surprise to the serious medical news.
Kim explained that her doctors have attributed the condition to significant stress. She specifically cited the prolonged tension from her divorce from Kanye West.
The reality star also pointed to the immense pressure of protecting her four children as a major contributing factor to her stress levels. She shared, “I feel more stressed probably just because I have to protect my kids.”
A brain aneurysm is a bulging spot in a blood vessel within the brain. The condition can become life-threatening if the bulge were to rupture.
While Kim has not shared details of her treatment plan, she noted that the stress also caused a recurrence of her psoriasis, a known autoimmune skin condition.
She expressed that this health scare has shifted her perspective. For the first time, she did not feel the usual responsibility to fix everything, marking a significant personal moment amid the diagnosis.
