Donald Trump Returned to Hospital for More Heart Tests 3 Months After Diagnosis, Physician Reveals
President Donald Trump, 79, recently underwent a routine physical examination at Walter Reed Medical Center. This visit took place on October 10, 2025, as part of his standard health maintenance plan.
According to his physician, Dr. Sean Barbabella, the president’s test results were “exceptional.” The examination included advanced cardiovascular tests, lab work, and imaging. Notably, his cardiac age was assessed to be 14 years younger than his actual age.
During the visit, Trump also received his updated influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations. Dr. Barbabella confirmed the president is in excellent health, demonstrating strong performance across cardiovascular, pulmonary, and neurological metrics.
The physician also noted that Trump maintains a demanding daily schedule without any physical restrictions. This check-up follows a similar examination earlier in the year where he was declared fully fit to serve.
This visit was technically his second of the year, prompting some questions. However, it was characterized as a routine part of his ongoing health management.
Earlier in July, Trump had a follow-up appointment to address swelling in his lower legs. This led to a diagnosis of chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), a common condition for individuals over 70.
Despite this age-related diagnosis and previous observations like hand bruising, his doctor reassures the public that the president’s overall health remains excellent as he continues his active duties.
