Actor Eric Dane Faces Health Scare
Eric Dane was preparing for a major return to the spotlight at the 2025 Emmys, joining his Grey’s Anatomy castmates for a 20th-anniversary reunion, until a fall at home sidelined him. The accident, caused by complications from ALS, required hospitalization and stitches, preventing him from attending the event he had been “really looking forward to.”
Dane, 52, revealed earlier in 2025 that he had been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a progressive neurological disease also known as Lou Gehrig’s.
