Donald Trump reveals Barron Trump “very hurt” over Charlie Kirk’s death

Donald Trump has revealed that his youngest son, Barron, was deeply affected by the killing of Charlie Kirk. The conservative activist was shot and killed during a speaking event at Utah Valley University.

The attack occurred just after Kirk had answered a question about mass shootings. Numerous attendees were filming the event, and videos of the shooting quickly spread across social media.

The footage triggered widespread shock and bipartisan condemnation. The FBI launched an intensive manhunt for the suspect.

Authorities released video showing a suspect climbing down from a rooftop near the campus before fleeing. A rifle and ammunition were later recovered from a nearby wooded area.

Trump announced on Fox News that a suspect had been taken into custody by Friday. During the interview, he shared a personal story about his son.

Trump explained that Barron, a good student, had once asked to meet Charlie Kirk. Trump arranged a lunch meeting between them.

Afterward, Barron told his father, “That guy’s great, Dad.” Trump noted that Kirk had a unique ability to connect with young people from all backgrounds. He said Barron was “very hurt” when he learned of Kirk’s death, highlighting the personal impact of the tragedy.
