Donald Trump Says Joe Biden May Have Put His Name In The Epstein Files As Payback

Donald Trump has suggested that Joe Biden might have manipulated the Jeffrey Epstein files to damage his reputation. During a speech in Scotland on Monday, Trump accused Biden, James Comey, and Merrick Garland—whom he called the “worst scum on Earth”—of controlling the Epstein-related Justice Department files for four years. He implied they could have falsified records to smear him.

Trump claimed that since Biden oversaw the files during his presidency, his administration had the opportunity to insert false information. He argued that if there were any damaging evidence against him, Biden would have already leaked it. Trump framed the Biden administration as his “enemy,” insinuating they had motives to tarnish his name.

The former president’s name appears several times in the Epstein documents, but reports indicate none of the references link him to misconduct. Trump’s remarks reflect his ongoing tendency to accuse political opponents of conspiring against him.

His comments come amid renewed public interest in the Epstein case, which involves high-profile figures connected to the financier’s sex trafficking network. Trump has previously distanced himself from Epstein, despite past social ties.

By alleging Biden’s involvement, Trump continues to push unfounded claims of political persecution. His rhetoric aligns with his broader strategy of discrediting investigations and legal challenges against him.

The Epstein files, which include flight logs and witness testimonies, have been scrutinized for names of powerful individuals. However, no evidence has emerged implicating Trump in criminal activity related to Epstein.

Trump’s latest claims reinforce his pattern of deflecting scrutiny by accusing adversaries of corruption, a tactic he has used throughout his political career.
